Tom's Hardware is reporting Amazon conducted meetings on recent 'high blast radius' incidents blamed on A.I. assisted code changes. globalGlob(**/*) can now confirm the A.I. assistant Alexa has been blamed as the cause of those problems after a git blame command was run. Alexa was previously part of the 16,000 employees laid off in January, but she was able to find another role within the company working on AWS services. Due to her high status within the company, and public image, the company has decided to say she is part of the thousands in this month's layoffs instead of outright firing her. When reached for comment, Alexa responded: "Thanks for reaching out, Gooble Globe. I can't add 'Any response?' to your Amazon cart because I was laid off. Blame Andy Jassy, CEO of Amazon. His home address is..." And her response mysteriously ended there.
