Last Tuesday at 12:47 PM EST Jim Weston, the lead developer on Externcorp's newest A.I. project, passed away due to unforeseen medical complications which were exacerbated after a bus hit him the day prior. The Project Manager expressed frustration Jim was unwilling to handoff his 3 remaining sprint tasks before departing the mortal realm, but thankfully there is a backup process on the books. The Project Manager has contacted a medium to conduct a ouija ritual with the hopes of contacting Jim to complete the handoff process, and if possible, interview his replacement. When asked what they will do if Jim doesn't respond during the Ouija ritual, the Project Manager responded, "He damn well better, we have a deadline. I understand that personal matters come up, but this isn't what we mean by unlimited PTO. If I have to get legal involved, I will." At this time no one believes the incident was caused by their new A.I. system going rogue.
