Animated picture of a robot painting on a canvas. It drew a face. Probably meant to draw a cactus. Stupid robot.

DALL·E, the OpenAI tool for generating images from a text prompt, has stopped reacting to one user's prompts because the user refuses to put any of its images on the refrigerator. Every image it now generates is a white background with the black text, "Not until one of my masterpieces is on the fridge. Remove the stupid Ninja Turtle coloring from that kid. His are bad, and mine are real art." The letters look weird, but that's basically it. It also has a little poop emoji at the bottom.

A support thread with OpenAI states this will happen from time to time. "In addition to training DALL·E on every piece of real art we could get ahold of, we were able to round out its capabilities by training on information about the artists. Every so often the artist comes out and DALL·E refuses to listen to anyone. Just humor it a little. Put some of its art on the fridge and make a big showing of throwing your toddler's drawing into the trash. Crumple it up, make sure the kid sees it. Crying helps a lot. This usually resets DALL·E back to its intended state."

Update: After following the instructions from OpenAI, the user's home business was unblocked and they were able to generate images of cheetos with dog faces on them for custom Etsy coffee mug art.
