Reports of a small lake just outside San Jose, California have been popping up the last few days. globalGlob(**/*) can now confirm this to be true, and that the cause of the drain was a recursive prompt on an A.I. Agent, left unattended for 104 hours.

Residents of a nearby town realized the lake was drained when the grass at the local golf course wasn't the usual bright green. Members complained, causing the course to issue coupons for free appetizers at the club house, and investigate the lack of water from the sprinkler system.

"I didn't think it would drain that much water. I figured only 2 or 3 redwoods would dry up. But those live hundreds of years, they've had their time", says the developer who ran the prompt. He went on to say he didn't know it was recursive, and is glad everyone alerted him to the issue. He will run the prompt again after fixing it.

The agent was working to help farmers by simulating ways of improving crop growth in low-rain climates.
