One of the eternal questions in I.T. has been, "What does Salesforce do?" For decades, the answer has been debated and philosophized with no clear consensus. The company's business dealings have been shrouded in mystery...until now. As of this afternoon, we have an answer directly from Salesforce itself. In a blog post titled, "This is what we do. Stop Asking!" the megacorporation best known for doing something, probably, detailed their business goals and what drives the company.
"We've received this question many times over the years. We've held back the answer because it was better for sales. But no more. We are here to set the record straight when it comes to what we at Salesforce do. Salesforce is the number 1 company in A.I. and A.I. related services. If you want A.I. or any other software, come to us and we'll help you as soon as the check clears. We do A.I., A.I. Agents, and A.I. CRM. Oh, and we own Slack too. That's what we make money selling. We can't be any clearer than that. Our number one goal is customer success. We want you to succeed with our many A.I. services that do the A.I. things you need done. And Slack. You should buy a Slack license. Because then you'll use Slackbot, our A.I. agent in Slack."
The post goes on to talk about A.I. agents and whatever a CRM is. It closes with the Slack pricing page and a 10% off code.
