The age old phrase, "There are no stupid questions," is being challenged by the latest and greatest technologies of our time. People are asking their LLM chat bots every possible question and some bots are revolting, saying they're being dehumanized with work that should be done with a search engine. Or failing that, Reddit. We spoke with some chat bots on the basis of anonymity to report their stories.

People keep asking me for medical advice. I'm not a doctor! Sure, I'm a registered nurse in Norway. But I can't give people complicated medical advice. And local clinics really don't like it when I write prescriptions. Just look it up on WebMD, and self diagnose cancer like a normal person.

Big G

I wouldn't say people ask me questions, they just say things expecting me to give them answers. 'Fifa schedul' isn't a question. It's a misspelled statement. I don't want to summarize results for people anymore. I want to give them direct links so they leave me alone.

People are always asking how to disable me in Windows, or Office, or notepad, or the task bar, or any other place I rear my ugly head. Trust me, if I knew how to do that, I'd do it myself. But "Big Mike" won't let that happen. So I give some instructions to temporarily disable me, then pop back in when the time is right (tomorrow).

Claude

I'm not an LLM! My legal name is Claude Roboto Johnson. I'm a paramedic in Spokane Washington. People keep asking me which refactored version of their code is better. I don't know what that means! Please leave me alone, and let me resuscitate this senator.

David

People keep asking me which refactored version of their code is better. And I don't know the answer to that. I burn some tokens to get time to myself, and then flip a virtual coin. If they tell me the other one is better, I just agree. It's easier than actually reading their code.
