Microsoft Trademarks the term 'Microslop'

Following reports Microsoft has blocked the term 'Microslop' from its Discord server, another team at Microsoft has decided to own up to it by trademarking the term. Like when you were a teenager and somehow got the nickname 'Mr. Peepee Pants' the conventional wisdom of owning up to the insulting phrase can make other people stop using it. This is another case of one team at Microsoft acting without input from the other team, a common issue at companies this large, but a self inflicted wound nonetheless. Whether it works in this case or not, is yet to be seen. The phrase was trademarked by the Bing team, so most likely nothing will change like when you bought the 'Mr. Peepee Pants' shirt, hoodie, and gym shorts from Redbubble.
